So you always get that window by using that shortcut. Pressing Alt + Tab shows thumbnails of all open apps. If you have 9 programs pinned, unpinned programs can't be switched to using this method.įor muscle memory, pinning the programs is advised, and you gain the benefit of launching the program if its closed.
